This is not the bio. This is currently the notes I have taken from the books as I reread them that will help me when I write the bio. I am not guaranteeing that everything that gets listed in the notes will show up in the final bio write-up. This is the same thing that is going on with my Corran and Hal bios.
Physical description at the time of Rogue Squadron: Slender and beautiful, with long, black hair and brown eyes. Has a carefree manner. Wearing a form-fitting, dark blue jumpsuit, boots, and a gunbelt around her waist.
On the shoulder of Mirax's jumpsuit is this patch: A Corellian sea-ray with a black bar in place of the eyes. A vertical white line passes through it, running side to side, from the thread used to embroider the bar. This patch symbolizes the Pulsar Skate, her ship.
The Pulsar Skate can push .6 past light speed.
She stayed with the Antilles family on the Gus Treta station as a child when her father had to go on dangerous runs. She and Wedge are as close as siblings, and they each have nicknames for the other. He calls her Myra, and she calls him Veggies.
Took over Booster's business when he was imprisoned on Kessel.
Ran afoul once of Imperial Captain Lakwii Varrscha when the latter was in command of a Customs corvette.
Was given the Pulsar Skate when Booster was released. He then moved her to Mrlsst to serve as his representative.
Chooses to smuggle cultural stuff, such as music and art, because it's easier than transport.
Like most smugglers, she will not go to a rendezvous unless she knows where it is first.
Vowed long ago to never sell a piece of herself.
Has been running supplies for the Alliance since her father retired from the business.
Bargained once against Talon Karrde for cases of Alderaanian wine. She lost to him, but made him pay dearly for them. Earned his respect.
She was transporting supplies for setting up a base when her ship came under attack from the Imperial Interdictor cruiser Black Asp. She was saved by Rogue Squadron, who had been pulled out of hyperspace on their way to Talasea. She transported Corran's damaged X-Wing the rest of the way to Talasea, and was stunned to find out that she'd saved Hal Horn's son.
Flew with Rogue Squadron on the Hensara mission, where she helped retrieve some stranded New Republic operatives.
Started having feelings for Corran upon their second meeting, where she brought a peace offering to him, which he accepted.
She discovered that the second mission to Borleias could be compromised, due to a buy/sell list that had Alderaanian products with no buy prices, meaning that Emtrey was projecting that these items would be available after that mission. After taking those items off the market, she alerted Tycho to the danger, and they took off in the Pulsar Skate to warn Rogue Squadron. Although the squadron ended up being fine, they did end up saving Corran from being captured by the Imps.
Mirax took part in the mission to liberate Coruscant. She was supposed to fly Gavin and a bunch of the other Rogues onto the planet in the Skate, known as the Merisee Hope for this mission, then leave an hour or so later. When her exit vector didn't work like it was supposed to, she was stranded on the planet and waited at the Galactic Museum for the Rogues she knew would have to show up there.
She ended up joining the Rogues in their quest to liberate Coruscant. Before Corran left in his Z-95 Headhunter to help bring down the planet's shields, he let her know his desire to pursue a relationship with her. She agreed and said that his feelings towards her were mutual.
When Corran was presumed dead after the taking of Coruscant, she wore her hair in a long braid that she doubled up and fastened at the back of her head. She wore her hair the same way when her father was first sent to Kessel. This is a physical sign of Mirax walling herself away from the pain, making herself serious and remote.
The Pulsar Skate was one of the ships that accompanied Rogue Squadron to the Yag'dhul station and helped carry away much-needed bacta from Warlord Zsinj after the Rogues took out the opposition. Mirax also gave some of Zsinj's pilots, mercenaries who decided to switch allegiances, a ride back to Coruscant on the Pulsar Skate.
While on that mission, she also picked up a Vratix Ashern agent named Qlaern Hirf, who ended up being instrumental in stopping the Krytos virus.
Mirax had her suspicions about Tycho's innocence, stating she wanted to believe he was innocent but she wasn't entirely sure. She also could not get herself to fully believe that Corran was dead because there was no body, and her father had had a saying about not believing someone was dead until you saw the body.
Mirax accompanied Rogue Squadron to Ryloth to pick up much-needed ingredients to make bacta.
Mirax was also one of a number of ships in a convoy that was supposed to pick up some bacta. The convoy was ambushed and she was presumed dead. But Mirax did not go with the rest of the convoy on the final jump. Instead she and Qlaern Hirf went to Borleias, where they were instrumental in synthesizing rylca, the drug used to stop the Krytos virus.
Shortly after Corran's return from the Lusankya, she and Corran began sleeping together.
She took Corran and Ganner to Tatooine to acquire the Imperial stash of weaponry that Gavin's uncle Huff had lying around. While there, she was reunited with her father Booster, had to stop the first argument between her father and her boyfriend, and came up with a fair deal for Huff's stash.
Flew at least one mission during Thyferran campaign to oversee the pickup of supplies from Karrde's people. One of them turned into an ambush in the Alderaan system.
Mirax is quick to seize upon opportunities to make a deal. Upon one mention of a Sith lanvarok, she immediately begins negotiating for it, even though she and her father are currently trying to uncover information. Not only is she quick to negotiate, she also keeps a running catalog of her clients and their needs/desires in her mind, and is always on the lookout for those items for which they search.
Wedge believes Corran a good match for Mirax because he represents stability to her. She is never sure where Booster is or what he is up to. Wedge also believes that she's a good match for Corran because she keeps him from being isolated and cut off with her curiosity and fervor for life.
Mirax was charged with preventing the spy Melina Carniss from sending a message to Isard about the location of the Rogues' secret base until Wedge and co. were good and ready for Isard to know.
On the eve of their mission to oust Isard from Thyferra, Corran proposes to her after dinner in the Flarestar. She accepts, on the condition that Corran not ask her to change her lifestyle or give up her father. When he says he has no intention of doing either, she joyfully accepts. Instead of being presented with a ring, he gives her his medallion. She is reluctant to take it, knowing he perceives it as a good luck charm, but he insists he'd rather her have it. Maybe it will keep her safe and/or remind her of him. She speaks of having a ring made for him from the Lusankya's hull.
Mirax decided to inform her father of her engagement at a moment when Booster was already none too happy with Corran. Not wanting to deal with Booster being angry and annoying throughout the period of their engagement, she talked Corran into eloping. They had Wedge Antilles marry them on the Lusankya, which had been surrendered to him, and had Tycho Celchu and Iella Wessiri stand with them as witnesses. They later had a more formal ceremony on Coruscant so everyone else could attend.
