Jysella is the daughter of Corran and Mirax. Two years old at the beginning of Onslaught, she has spent most of her life as a student at the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4, and has not seen too much of her mother or father. It is rumored that she may have been named after Mirax's mother, but there is no concrete evidence to this fact.
Although not mentioned by name, it is presumed that she remained at the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4 with her brother, Valin, after her father went into seclusion. She was one of the students evacuated off of Yavin 4 under the supervision of Kam Solusar. She is now reunited with her family aboard the Errant Venture.
