I am now accepting submissions in three categories: fanfiction, fanart, and editorial. After the general submission guidelines, more information will follow on the specific categories. To go to the category of your choice, just click on the appropriate link. Links will follow the General Guidelines.
General Guidelines
Any work submitted must be complete. If you are sending in a part of a story, that part must be complete, with all corrections having been made before sending in. Once posted, it is considered a published work, and corrections will not be made, unless there is something drastically wrong and it is essential (the direness of that situation to be ultimately determined by myself). It is strongly recommended that spellcheck be used on any submitted work. I do read through the work before posting, so sometimes I am able to catch spelling errors, such as names that spellcheck would not catch, but I am not your editor. If you want your work edited, find someone to edit it before submitting.
When you feel you are ready to submit your work, email it to ivanova@compufort.com. Indicate in the subject heading what kind of submission you are sending (fanfic, fanart, editorial). In the body, I need the title of the work, the author/artist name, the email under which you would like it posted, a disclaimer if it is a fanfic or an editorial, and, if you wish, a brief summary of your work. This summary can be as short as one sentence. Your email will be posted with your story unless you indicate otherwise, so that readers/viewers can send you feedback.
All fanfiction and editorials should be sent in RTF or HTML format. RTF is the preferred format. If using HTML, the submissions should just be coded text only, no graphics, sounds, or applets. All submissions must be both Internet Explorer and Netscape friendly. All submissions will be reformatted to fit this page's design and feel. All fanart should be sent in either .jpg or .gif format. The files may be modified for memory and physical size. No other changes will be made to the files except to perhaps make them smaller.

Editorial Submission Guidelines
I am now accepting submissions for editorials. These editorials must be about at least one member of the Halcyon/Horn family. Editorials can be theories, rants, or something original you think of that I may not have mentioned. What follows are some loose definitions of the terms used above.
Theories: These are your thoughts on a certain subject. Things that could fall under this heading are elements of character development (why you think a person is the way s/he is), plot concerning a character (why you think a person did/ended up doing what s/he did), your thoughts on a character's relationship with the Force, or anything else you may think about that falls under this heading.
Rants: Was there something that happened to a character that you didn't like? Are you not happy with a choice this character has made in his or her life? Are you angry with how a character was treated in the context of story, by a given author, or maybe even with how the character treated another in a given situation? These are the types of things that would fall into this category.
Original: Do you have something that does not fall under either category, but yet you feel should be on this page? There is no way I can cover all bases. Please, if you have had an interesting insight that you believe should be up here, send it in. I refer to most of the stuff I have written as either a theory or a rant, but that by no means covers everything.
All editorials must be well thought out, with facts to support your opinion. Note the word opinion. All editorials are your opinion. Nothing posted on this page, whether by myself or by any other author, is meant to be taken as gospel. That is, unless it is proven to be true in the books or other Lucasfilm sanctioned media. I will be very picky with what I accept for this section. If there doesn't appear to be much thought put into your editorial, or there is nothing to support your opinion besides your own say-so, it will not be posted. I will not reject an editorial simply because I do not agree with your opinion.
There are a few things that will automatically not be posted. I am not looking for your essay on why you personally like Corran Horn. Likewise, I do not want essays on why you can't stand Corran Horn. I do not want anything resembling a book review or reasons why you think Mike Stackpole is the best/worst author in the Star Wars line.
Lastly, I would like to note that I am still refining the editorial acceptance process. This is the first time I am throwing the floor open to submissions in this category, and I have yet to see what kinds of things people may want to send in. Therefore, these guidelines may change as I become more knowledgeable in this area. All material will be posted solely at my discretion.
Art must be depicting at least one member of the Halcyon/Horn family. This is the area I am the newest at when it comes to accepting submissions, so I am pretty open about what I am taking. If it is a professional work, you must either be the artist or have a way for me to contact the artist to obtain permission for posting. If it is regular fanart, the person sending in the work must be the actual artist. I am not accepting scans from the comic books, nude pictures, or photographs of people that you think would make a good so-and-so in a Rogue Squadron movie. If you have a Decipher card that fits this site theme and you do not see depicted here, please scan it in and send it to me. All material will be posted solely at my discretion.
Fanfiction Submission Guidelines
I am primarily looking for stories that feature at least one of the characters featured in the Biographies section. The Halcyon/Horn family member does not necessarily have to be the main character, although this is preferred. If the family member is not the main character, then s/he must have some prominence in the story. There needs to be something more going on with the character than just a cameo or being seen in the background.
I am not accepting anything rated NC-17 or X. I will not turn down a story if it contains sexual situations or violence, but there must be a reason for it, and not gratuitous. Please keep in mind there are younger readers out there. All material will be posted solely at my discretion.
