These pictures were taken mostly by my official photographer for this con, Janet Grosskreutz. As with any other picture I have on my website, please do not take these without asking first, as they are very personal to me. Although I can't see why the majority of people would want to...
What I Took This is a picture I took the night before the convention of all the items I took to be signed. Believe it or not, every single item fit in the backpack you see next to it. I weighed the backpack when I came home and found out I'd been lugging around 15 pounds of stuff.
Midwest Express Center This is a shot of the building where GenCon 2001 was held. Or, I should say, just the tiniest portion of it. As I said in my report, that building is huge. Takes up one whole city block.
Exhibit Hall This is just a small portion of the Exhibit Hall, the room in which I spent the most of my time.
Mike with Corranbear Mike Stackpole posing with his brand new Corranbear, made special by Lissy of WEB.
Shannon and Tim Tim Zahn signs my books while Shannon Baksa waits for her picture to be taken by another fan.
Mike and Shannon Mike Stackpole and Shannon Baksa talk to fans.
Hard At Work Here I am, giving Mike something to do.
These Busy People Mike, Shannon, and Tim taking care of business.
We're Waiting... Yet another picture from the signing. Corranbear can be seen holding up I, Jedi.
Corran Horn This is the autographed version of the Corran Horn card.
Talon Karrde And here's the autographed Talon Karrde card.
Mara Jade and Talon Karrde Autographed by Shannon Baksa and Tim Zahn.
Promotional card Yes, I know, it's the same exact card that's up in the Picture Gallery on the main page, the one with Mara, Corran, and Talon sitting around a table. It's here because I got it signed at GenCon.
The Fabulous Four Okay, so it's really the Three Musketeers Plus One. From left to right: Mike Stackpole, Kelly Grosskreutz, Shannon Baksa, and Tim Zahn.
A Dream Come True I never thought this day would come! From left to right: Margaret Weis, Kelly Grosskreutz, and Tracy Hickman.
I Can Dream, Can't I? Knowing some friends and family were coming over, I had set up my autographed items on the dining room table in a display worthy of Waldenbooks (according to my mother). Seated behind the books, it kind of gives the impression I wrote all of these. If only!
