Is 1.9 meters tall. Translating that to American terms, he's about 6 feet 2 inches tall.
He is powerfully built with broad shoulders. Has short, bristly hair that is a mixture of white and gray. He has brown eyes, but lost his left one on Kessel. He had it replaced with a red cybernetic one.
Used the Gus Treta refueling station, run by Wedge Antilles' parents, Jagged and Zena, for repairs and refueling. He also left Mirax there when he had to make a dangerous run.
Captained the Pulsar Skate before his imprisonment on Kessel.
Booster smuggled all kinds of contraband, not just spice. Quite a few powerful people wanted the items he smuggled, so Booster was able to acquire a lot of influential friends.
He rose to the point where he could have just been a broker of goods, but he loved flying too much to do that. This traveling around in the open may have been a factor that aided Hal in finally catching up with him and arresting him.
Used to allow Wedge Antilles to stay with him aboard the Skate once in awhile. When Wedge was fifteen, he had Wedge replace the fusion chamber on the starboard engine.
Taught Wedge many other things, including how to force someone to pick something that you want them to while letting them think they've made a random choice of their own.
Helped Wedge track down Loka Hask and exact justice for his parents' murder when CorSec was unable to find him. Booster lent Wedge his Z-95 Headhunter, which Wedge used to destroy Hask's ship. Booster tried to get Wedge to just incapacitate the ship and wait there for the police to deal with the rest, but Wedge refused.
Booster had a saying, "If you don't see a body, don't count on someone being dead." The one time he didn't follow this advice, he lost his eye.
Booster was released from Kessel around the beginning of The Empire Strikes Back. He says he got out about the same time Wedge was freezing on Hoth.
Booster also says that it was a little over six months after the Imps hit the Rebels at Derra IV that he was released.
Booster lost at least a part of his network to Talon Karrde while on Kessel. Was a factor in Booster's decision to retire from the field. Mirax wanting him to retire was another factor.
On Kessel, the thing that got to Booster the most was the boredom. When he was released, he flew one mission in the Pulsar Skate and realized he couldn't handle it. Being alone in a small ship in the solitude of hyperspace reminded him too much of the boredom of Kessel. He then relinquished the Skate to Mirax and sent her to Mrlsst to serve as his representative. After that, he chose to broker deals and procure goods for friends only.
Between The Phantom Affair and The Bacta War, Booster has been moving around from place to place.
He finally reunited with his daughter on Tatooine a few years later, when she, Corran, and Gavin were at Huff Darklighter's to buy some weapons off of him. Booster was not pleased to see that Mirax and Corran were a couple, which was not helped by the first impression he had of Corran. Upon finding out the weapons in question, which he was seeking to buy as well, were needed by Wedge, he ordered Huff to give them to Mirax and her entourage.
He was offered the opportunity to fly the Mimban Cloudrider to Thyferra by Wedge, but Booster turned it down because of his post-Kessel reaction. Instead, he took over command of Yag'Dhul station.
After the Halanit disaster, Booster agreed to help out by dealing the bacta captured by the Rogues to traders so the traders could sell it to planets in need, thereby protecting the planets from Isard's wrath.
Booster, along with Mirax, was Wedge's liaison with Talon Karrde. He was able to bargain for many different types of weapons and components.
Being in smaller ships for short periods of time doesn't seem to bother Booster, especially if there is at least a promise of some excitement while being aboard. He accompanies Mirax on the Pulsar Skate to supervise transfer of cargo in the Alderaan system. When the transfer was ambushed by the Corrupter, Booster manned the laser cannon and kept TIEs off of the Skate.
Aided in scaring High Admiral Teradoc out of the battle by putting the word out that Wedge's group was interested in acquiring an Interdictor Cruiser.
Booster's dislike of CorSec and of Hal Horn makes him automatically think the worst of Corran. He believes that Corran is always suspicious of him because of his past.
His dislike of "CorSec" doesn't stop him from taking credit when Corran does something right. Mirax had Corran check over some information without Booster's knowledge, and when he liked the conclusions Corran came up with, he claimed that the idea for Corran to check over the data was all his.
Despite Booster's reputation, he is not all bite. When negotiating with Karrde, Booster insists that the bacta that is sent to Coruscant is strictly charity, provided to deal with the Krytos virus.
Booster has a penchant for not using Corran's first name. He normally calls him "CorSec." Booster first calls Corran by his first name when he is telling Corran that they are planning to invite Isard to their secret base on Yag'Dhul.
Booster and Corran get into a huge argument that almost comes to blows when discussing inviting Isard into Yag'Dhul station. Booster accuses Corran of having no guts because he worked for an Imperial puppet for many years (CorSec), of abandoning Mirax in the middle of a fight on Thyferra, and brings up Hal's arrest of Booster. Booster uses the first two items as reasons for Corran not being worthy of Mirax.
Wedge believes Booster's problem with Corran has nothing to do with the Horn/Terrik family history or with Corran's affiliation with CorSec, but everything to do with the fact that Corran is romantically involved with Booster's daughter.
Booster is surprised when Corran chooses to make peace between them because that act showed he had misjudged Corran, but he is also relieved because it shows that Mirax is still a good judge of character.
Normally when Mirax goes out somewhere with Corran, Booster tells her to make sure Corran takes good care of her. Following his huge fight with Corran, he tells her to keep her eye on Corran and follow his lead.
Booster plays a big part in the final battle to oust Isard from Thyferra. Not only is he in on the planning, but he is left behind on Yag'Dhul to serve as a distraction while everybody else heads out to Thyferra. After freaking out Captain Varrscha enough to get her to surrender the SD Virulence, he heads out to Thyferra and plays a decisive role in their victory.
Booster had to fight the New Republic for the right to keep the Virulence for himself, the NR being afraid of a Booster Terrik with a fully armed SD to command. With Karrde's help, he was able to keep the ship, but had to give up most of its armament. He was allowed to keep two tractor beams, ten ion cannons, and ten heavy turbolaser batteries. Booster also changed the name of the SD to the Errant Venture. And there was much rejoicing. Yay! (Sorry, couldn't resist, but I love Booster having the EU.)
Booster intends to use the Errant Venture as a place where the cargo can come to him and he can just sit back and broker deals for it, instead of traveling to where the cargo is. As Wedge puts it, Booster finally found a ship that was big enough for him.
Booster, upon finding out about his daughter's engagement, insists that the wedding will not take place. He says that she will not marry anyone from CorSec because they are all of low morals and intellect. Karrde bets him that they will get married behind his back. When he sees Corran and Mirax again at the party, he is informed that he has lost his bet. Trying to save face, he says that it's ok now because Corran is not CorSec, but once again a member of Rogue Squadron.
